The Rev. Stephen Becker was born in Washington, D. C. and grew up in Alexandria, Virginia with five brothers. He married his wife, Ellen, in September of 1977. They have three grown children: Emily, Luke, and Matthew.
Stephen was educated at Trinity School of Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania where he received his Master of Divinity Degree.
His 38 years of ministry have given him a wide range of experiences from serving as a Canon Educator at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter in St. Petersburg, Florida to pastoring large and small churches. Most recently Stephen served as an Interim Rector of Emmanuel Church in Delaplane, Virginia. In addition to serving as the Vicar of Christ Church, Stephen serves as a hospice chaplain for Capital Caring in Loudoun and Fairfax County and PRN chaplain on the palliative care team at Fair Oaks Hospital.
Stephen’s wife, Ellen, is a registered nurse. She presently works at Capital Caring Hospice in Aldie, Virginia.
