Our Prayer Shawl Ministry usually meets in the Church House every other Wednesday around 10:15 am – after Morning Prayer in the Sanctuary. Please check the post below or the calendar for when we’ll meet next.
We gather to prayerfully knit and/or crochet shawls or lap robes for those in our community in need of prayer, comfort, and healing or who are celebrating a major event in their lives. The knitter/crocheter is invited to pray in an intentional manner while knitting. Patterns can be as simple as three knit stitches followed by three purl stitches invoking the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Shawls can be made from any pattern and upon completion will be blessed and presented to the recipient.
