I hope all of you had a pleasant St. Patrick’s Day yesterday.  To begin Morning Prayer and Bible Conversation yesterday I borrowed part of a prayer written by St. Patrick using these words:

“…May the Wisdom of God instruct us.

May the Hand of God protect us.

May the Way of God direct us.

May the Shield of God defend us…

May Christ be with us.

May Christ be before us.

May Christ be in us.”    And let the people say, “AMEN.”

Rev. Tom Prinz will give us the message this coming Sunday.  Nancy is our Lector and Linda, our Intercessor.  The readings are Jeremiah 31:31-34; Psalm 51:1-13; and Hebrews 5:5-10.  The Gospel is John 12:20-33.

This is the last Sunday in Lent.  Next week is Palm Sunday and the Holy Week/Easter bags will be delivered to you prior to Palm Sunday.  Watch for a “Pattie email” reminding you of the Holy Week schedule.
