Christ Church welcomed its new Vicar Sunday, February 12th. The Rev. Dr. Kirtley Yearwood, an experienced and well known priest from Maryland, gladly said yes to joining CCL when he realized we were operating under a shared-ministry model. "We - I can say we, now - are in the forefront of what church is going to look like in the future. I'm thrilled to be part of the continued exploration and implementation of lay-led church."
Sr. Warden Susan Pullin welcomed Yearwood by saying "I can't believe we got someone of such stature to our little church. But we are all excited that we have. He gets us and will be a wonderful addition to our mininstry team."
Yearwood will share pastoral ministry with Kurt Aschermann, the current Pastoral Leader of Christ Church.
