Sunday May 1st was such a joyous day at Christ Church with the visit of Bishop Porter Taylor. Starting with the Sunday School students marching in with the bishop ("I don't remember ever processing with so many bishops," was the way Bishop Taylor put it), to confirming and receiving five members of our parish into the Episcopal Church. To say nothing of the feast after the service! And, wasn't it affirming to hear the bishop tell us during the Q&A that 'we are the future of the church?'
